Hiring Strategy for the Modern Workforce

Attracting and retaining talent is as competitive and complex as it’s ever been. 10.5 million jobs are currently unfilled in the US labor market. Employers are scrambling to determine how they fill their open roles and differentiate themselves in the marketplace. In this webinar, we will make the case that to stand out, you must first look internally and ask “does working here make employees better off?”

In this webinar we will provide practical tools on the following:
·      How to create and market your employee value proposition
·      How to design an interview process with a focus on an excellent applicant experience
·      How to tap into unique talent pools

As an employer, learn how you can differentiate yourself in the marketplace.

This webinar will be recorded and available for viewing.

About Chris:

Chris began his career in the hospitality field where he led multiple restaurant concepts to record levels of sales and profitability. He looks back fondly on this time because it gave him the opportunity to grow competency in many areas of business, to experiment, and most importantly to find his true passion. Chris discovered how energizing the study and practice of leadership, team building, employee and leadership development, employee engagement, and culture was to him and how focusing on the employee development as a driving factor in organizational success. In his role at Eastern Michigan University, he leads staff learning and development, talent acquisition and employee wellness programs. He has been a leader in several University initiatives including creating and implemented DEIB training, evaluating and implementing wellbeing policies and practices in our changing work environment, and acting as the project lead in the implementation of a new talent management system. He is a strengths-based coach and Organizational Development practitioner who works with individuals and teams to learn how to use their individual and collective strengths to be more cohesive, inclusive, and innovative.
